Job Description :
The role of Reporting Lead is to lead technical team with structured project management methodology to oversee the completion of projects.
Major responsibilities include :

  • Hands on experience on report development cycle including report development, deployment, unit testing and production release.
  • Able to construct reports based on complex business logic in a dynamic working environment
  • Working with different Business groups/users to understand the Business Requirements for a business intelligence project
  • Working closely with the business users to understand the current state and target state business processes
  • Working with different IT & Business groups to understand and determine the Impacts to the Data Warehouse and/or Data Marts for different projects
  • Creating the Functional Requirement Specification/FRS for the Business Intelligence and/or Data Warehouse and/or Data Mart for the project
  • Providing input to the Data Architect to help create/update Logical/Physical Data Models for the Data Warehouse and/or Data Marts
  • Working closely with the Development team to validate that the Technical design meets the business requirements
  • Reviewing Test Plans/Scripts to ensure adequate coverage for the proposed design
  • Experience on developing or supporting SCORECARD solutions
  • Collaborate with Architect/Center of Excellence teams to develop IP based solution frameworks and productivity accelerators.
  • Effective horizontal and vertical facilitation and communication with Business Units, Corporate Services, IT, and other back office departments.
  • Defining of Standards and Best Practices and their implementation
  • Liaison to Senior Management, Customer team, Operations teams, Business Management team, and Project Management Office
  • Ability to manage global projects, virtual teams, and matrix management experience.
  • Responsible for technical Project Management for Offshore Delivery services, Major improvement initiatives, Defect Management, Risk Management and Release Work of Plan Management, in a high pressure environment, with strict Service Resilience requirements against the platforms under change. Manage end-to-end delivery of the implementation. Analyze and document specific projects business requirements and strategic resolution initiatives; describe alternative problem-solving approaches and their optimal uses.
  • Relationship management with various stakeholders
  • Manage BAU activities, escalation, resolving issues. Manage projects around planning, estimation, budgeting. Managing the project risk log, escalating and reporting as required to the Senior Management
  • Provide technical marketing support to the International Subsidiaries by helping them in making RFPs, Effort Estimations, Proof-of-Concepts, and other pre-sales activities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with highly skilled technology professionals and business users.
  • A strong understanding of current technology and the value these technologies bring to the organization.
  • Proven abilities to manage direct reports and/or project teams in a matrix-managed environment helping team to execute their career plans and team objectives.

Desired Profile : Candidate should have 6+ yrs in technology including min 2+ yrs of Project Lead
Following technical expertise background required.

  • Strong experience in BI and Data Warehouse
  • Design and Architecture of Datawarehouse and Datamart in a complex and challenging business environment
  • Data Modeling
  • Strong experience in BI Tools preferably in OBIEE, Business Objects, Crystal reports, Hyperion.
  • Performance Tuning and Administration
  • BI development in large and Complex environments
  • Good Understanding of Databases, Servers, Operating Systems and Performance Engineering
  • Strong experience of leading team for Project Delivery in large multinational enterprises.

Desired Certifications : Product Certification.
