Position: Software Engineer (Model Group)
Location: Hyderabad
Description: The position requires you to work closely with a team of modelers, engineers, analysts, etc. to develop/implement natural and manmade hazard models that are used to estimate and manage financial risk.

Main responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Understand the research catastrophe models and implement them into the framework.
• Enhance information for hazard data applications.
• Coordinate with other groups such as GIS, Software, Analytics and Testing during the model release.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Demonstrated Data Mining skills (SQL and/or statistical analysis).
• Adept in VC++, MFC, COM with Research orientation.
• Experience in working with applications developed using FORTRAN.
• Knowledge of probabilistic risk modeling is preferable.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Experience:
2–5+ years of core experience in developing software products using Microsoft VC++ technologies.
