Position: Software Engineer (Model Group)
Location: Hyderabad
Description: The position requires you to work closely with a team of modelers, engineers, analysts, etc. to develop/implement natural and manmade hazard models that are used to estimate and manage financial risk.

Main responsibilities, but not limited to:

Understand the research catastrophe models and implement them into the framework.
Enhance information for hazard data applications.
Coordinate with other groups such as GIS, Software, Analytics and Testing during the model release.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Demonstrated Data Mining skills (SQL and/or statistical analysis).
Adept in VC++, MFC, COM with Research orientation.
Experience in working with applications developed using FORTRAN.
Knowledge of probabilistic risk modeling is preferable.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Experience:
2–5+ years of core experience in developing software products using Microsoft VC++ technologies.
